We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to the ioThinx 4530 Series.
These changes will be implemented by April 01, 2024.
Please review the details below to determine how the changes will affect your products and/or operations.
What will change?
Changes will be made to the ioThinx 4533-LX and ioThinx 4533-LX-T models of the ioThinx 4530 Series.
The following changes will be implemented in the new versions of the models:
- Changes the operating system from Debian 9 to Moxa Industrial Linux 3 (MIL3).
- Upgrades the RAM size from 512 MB to 2 GB.
- Preinstalls the Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0).
- Discontinues support for OPC UA and cloud connectivity libraries.

Continuous support for the previous version
These changes will not be backward compatible.
Hence, we will make ioThinx 4533-LX (V1) and ioThinx 4533-LX-T (V1) models available to continue support for your existing applications.
